It is important to note that the GCE ‘A’ level exam now places more emphasis on higher-order thinking skills such as analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and application of economic principles rather than lower-order thinking skills such as knowledge and comprehension. To excel in Economics, it is crucial to be able to explain current economic events using relevant economic principles, integrate different topics to create a coherent line of argument, and evaluate the effectiveness and limitations of various economic policies. Simply memorizing information is not enough. Your responses must be logical, clear, concise, and prioritize quality over quantity. To help students achieve this, my lessons not only cover the necessary syllabus concepts but also incorporate real-world economic events and personal anecdotes.
To ensure high-quality instruction, I personally teach all JC Economics classes. My former students have excelled academically at top universities both locally and abroad, such as the University of Cambridge and the London School of Economics and Political Science. Seeing my students achieve academic success is incredibly rewarding.
